So it was Pancake Day 2020 last Tuesday and I saw pancakes all over Facebook and Twitter. The next two days I wanted pancakes so badly I had to make this to stop the craving!
1 apple, sliced
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup water
Add apple slices, sugar, honey, cinnamon and water to a small sauce pan. Stir over medium heat 3-5 minutes and turn heat down, simmer until apple slices are very tender and mixture becomes syrupy or to your preferred consistency.
Serve over warm pancakes and enjoy!
