
With temperatures soaring up to 30°C and even 32°C this week, I’ve been enjoying making a fruity smoothie to cool me down in the afternoon when I take a break from work.
Today I’m making this one that’s got a spicy kick. Ripe kiwi fruits and pear are blended with a thin slice of fresh ginger to give this sweet fruity smoothie a subtle kick which I really love!
Ingredients
1 large, ripe pear, peeled and diced
2 ripe kiwi fruit, peeled
1 thin slice of ginger
100ml milk
Method
Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth, then pour into 2 glasses.
